Allow me to introduce myself.
Hi, I'm Dominique! I’m an experienced designer and writer—working on a variety of projects both large and small.
I’ve always been a writer and fascinated by the art of using language to help people. I found my way into UX with the intention to weave my love of writing together with a natural eye for design.
I’m currently a UX writer at Experian. Since joining them in 2022, I’ve had the lucky opportunity of working as the sole UX writer on 3 different teams. This has made me adaptable to different writing styles, and allowed me to hone my craft in a variety of different realms including end-to-end sign-up and checkout flows, quoting funnels, CRM and push notifications, service communications and more. I’ve also collaborated cross-functionally to build, test and iterate on completely new in-product features from the ground up.
I value working closely with research to make design decisions with intention. I’m an intuitive being and I quickly learn what makes people tick. These attributes have helped me break through collaborative barriers and inspire creative curiosity among my teammates—leading to a more thoughtful, human product.
Born on Maui, Hawaii and raised in Orange County, I now reside in the Rogue Valley of Southern Oregon. When I’m not working, simple pleasures of mine include rafting local rivers, nerding out about herbalism, learning how to fall on my mountain bike, writing music, snuggles with my cat, Little Kitters and getting lost in beautiful places.
